JUANA MARTÍN

She began her professional career in 1999, when her collection was selected, among more than 150 proposals, to represent her hometown, Córdoba, in the competition of Young Designers of Spain. A trajectory that has not stopped growing since then.

In 2005 she became the first Andalusian woman, the first woman from Cordoba and the first Gypsy woman to arrive at the Cibeles catwalk, obtaining a great success. She has done numerous numerous national catwalks: SIMOF, CIBELES, VALENCIA FASHION WEEK, JEREZ ...

Juana Martín has also been one of the main characters of the book 50 Gypsy Women in Spanish Society (2003), co-edited by the Gypsy Secretariat Foundation and the Women's Institute. In June 2007 opened her first store in Córdoba and in December she inaugurated her second store in Seville. Currently you can acquire her collections at her Córdoba's Atelier or at her Showroom in Madrid. She also has a shop in Marbella (Málaga).

She has received numerous awards and mentions:

  • 2017. She continues to work annually her MODA FLAMENCA collections.

  • 2017. Spain Sewing Catwalk. She presents her new bridal collection 2018.

  • 2017. Since her debut at Pasarela Cibeles, in 2005, she has not missed any edition of the current MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID.

  • 2015. March. Gold Medal of the Forum Europe 2001.

  • 2014. July. National Prize for the Stylistic Arts (Trofeo Pencho Cros) XV International Cultural Call of the Festival of Cante de las Minas.

  • 2014. June. Golden Thimbles V Edition.

  • 2014. Presentation of her Bridal collection at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.

  • 2013. February. Flamenco fashion collection 2013.

  • 2012. November. Bridal Collection 2013.

  • 2012. September III bathing-suit collection at VALENCIA FASHION WEEK.

  • 2012. July. She joins as an associate to the Association of Spain's Fashion Creators.
